WhereToGo is an AI-powered travel platform that helps users to generate a perfect trip itinerary based on their preferences.
It was created by Salvatore Campagnese, who is a full stack developer born in Italy.

Step 1: Create your account, so that you can unlock all the website features.
Step 2: Fill out the form as required! Tailor your perfect travel itinerary by providing the location you want to visit, how many days you will stay, transportation preferences, must-visit places, and any specific preferences or optional notes you have in mind.
Step 3: After a few minutes, you will be redirected to your travel plan!

What did you use to build the project?
I leveraged the powerful combination of React, Next.js, and Supabase to handle both frontend and backend services in this project.
At the heart of it all lies the advanced OpenAI AI, which forms the backbone of the system. To optimize its performance, I personally made several key implementations, fine-tuning the prompt and response mechanisms, as well as enhancing data parsing and organization.
Have you built similar projects before?
No I did not, but I am working on another project that is using the same stack, but for another kind of audience.
What inspired you to create this project?
This project took its genesis in Fuerteventura during a SpaceHub event, where serendipity connected me with a fellow traveller. Engaging in conversation, she revealed her travel planning prowess, relying on ChatGPT to organize her journeys.
That very moment sparked a brilliant idea within me: to craft a specialized web platform solely dedicated to creating impeccable trip itineraries. And thus, the vision of this travel-oriented venture was born.

I am not so good with words, but I can suggest trying our platform as it is free at the beginning. Giving it a try will change how you plan your next travels! Basically, you can save money and time, and last but not least, you can organize a unique travel experience based on your preferences.
